ELIJAH CARLSON INJURY UPDATE


BIRMINGHAM (AP) – Updating an earlier story, officials with 4 Corners Wrestling have confirmed that former champion, Elijah Carlson, underwent successful surgery this morning to repair the AC and CC ligaments in his right shoulder. Reports indicate that the diagnosed injury was a grade V separation of the AC joint in Carlson’s right shoulder. Recovery time is estimated to be somewhere between six to eight months.
A statement was released by Carlson’s representatives, stating “The Carlson family thanks their friends and family for their support as the full nature of the injury became clear. Eli is considering all options going forward.”
