Bringing in the new year with a bang, the first Adrenaline of 2018 was live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Starting the night off, 4CW reflected on 2017 with the official Year End Awards ceremony, before jumping into the opening match featuring Pride Champion versus 4CW Champion: Jair Hopkins versus Bronx Valescence! From top to bottom, as always, the card was stacked with pay-per-view quality bookings. Closing the night, the showdown everyone had been waiting for finally came to fruition as Jason Cashe and Persephone Marquis climbed into the ring but in opposing corners. Being the flagship show of 4CW, the ratings were quite impressive as the first Adrenaline of 2018, E78, brought in a total of 3,490,000 viewers worldwide, raising the bar even further compared to the 3,415,000 viewers Adrenaline E77 brought in early December 2017.
