Adrenaline / Blame the White Man
« on: September 04, 2016, 04:31:38 AM »
Location: Unknown....
September 3, 2016, 11:00 a.m. local time

As the image comes into focus of a beautiful backdrop of a mountain range with the sun shining brightly and high in the crystal blue sky we slowly make our way downward and see a man in his late fifties or early sixties walking in a field of endless green. The man has salt and pepper hair and is wearing all black from slacks to a button up shirt. The older gentleman continues to walk slowly before coming to a stop and using a wooden cane to help sturdy him as he leans against it.

“Indian Country is a battlefield.”

The man says proudly.

The image suddenly shifts from the beautiful mountain range to what looks to be an elementary school as we have two children playing outside. We have a boy who appears to be around the age of eight swinging in a tire swing while a girl who looks to be about seven years of age plays in the sandbox as a woman in her mid to late thirties comes into focus wearing what appears to be formal wear consisting of a black skirt and a maroon colored suit jacket over a white blouse and stares at the children. The woman has sadness in her eyes as she slowly turns and says…..

“This state is taking our Indian children and placing them in non-native homes stripping them of their culture and identity.”

As the image changes once again we hear the sound of running water as a steady stream of water flows down an embankment as a man with a buzz cut wearing jeans and a navy blue long sleeved shirt looks at a rusted oil drum sitting in the middle of the pound as he slowly turns towards the camera with a disgusted look on his face.

“Private industries mine tribal resources contaminating our hunting and fishing grounds.”

As the flowing water carries us further downstream until it comes to a stop as we see everyone’s favorite Texan standing alongside the embankment. Stevens continues to stare at the calm serenity of the lake before reaching up and taking off his white Oakley sunglasses and places them on top of his head.

“For over five hundred years Native Americans have been oppressed and subjugated.”

Stevens says somberly as he shakes his head.

“Ever since Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492 looking for trade routes to India for Queen Isabella of Spain, Native Americans have been persecuted since it was the catalyst for Europeans to come to the New World in search of Gold, Glory, and God and the Natives paid the price of the European expansion.”

Stevens says as he lets out a sigh.

“Disease and war with the Europeans highly eradicated the major tribes such as the Mayans, the Incas, and the Aztecs as foreign invaders trampled through their native lands, and the ones that survived were forced into slavery and treated worse than cockroaches.”

Stevens says as he closes his eyes and stares up towards the sky.

“And that was only the beginning…..”

Stevens says as he turns and begins walking down the river bank.

“Since Spain, France, and the British came to settle what is now called North America they have been at war with the foreigners to try and salvaged their lands that have been taken from them throughout the years. Hernando Cortes conquered the Aztecs and he sent Pedro de Alvarado to finish off the Mayans while Fernando Pizarro conquered the Incas. In a short period of time three powerful civilizations were wiped out in a blink of an eye!”

Stevens says with a loud snapping of his fingers.

“And the survivors were scattered towards the four winds.”

Stevens says as he picks up some dirt and blows it slowly before cleaning his hands and continues walking down the embankment.

“As time went on Natives continued to fight for their land and to save their way of living but it was a losing battle as governments issued a military issue to conquer and cleanse the Natives who opposed them and the ones who gave up to preserve themselves where treated as dirt as they were stripped of their identity and culture when they were forced to become “white” by forcing them to learn English, cut their hair, punish them severely if they talked in their native tongue, wear their native garb, or celebrate their native traditions. The goal was to “beat the savage out of them and civilize them.” In Texas, the Texas Rangers were used to battle tribes such as the Cherokee and the Comanche.”

Stevens informs as he continues to walk along the embankment.

“Native civilizations, gone. Culture, beliefs, identity, and heritage destroyed. Food supply killed for the fun of it because what’s more satisfying than killing a herd of buffalo from a train?”

Stevens asks with a shrug.

“History has verified that the White Man committed genocide against the native population as they tried to purge them from existence.”

Stevens says as he stops in front of a twenty by twenty wrestling ring.

“And it’s not going to stop now.”

Stevens says with a smirk as he climbs into the ring.

“You see Alex, I actually felt a bit of sympathy for you when doing my research on you and found out that you retired from competing in the squared circle do to multiple concussions because I have had more concussions than I can remember throughout my twenty plus year wrestling career, but that sympathy went out the window when you said you were going to take me out and prove to you aren’t some sort of Muppet that dances and sings for Aidan Morag. Alex, how can you take me out when you can’ do your own research on your opponent without fucking it up on your own?”

Stevens lets the question linger before continuing.

“Let me fill in the dots for you since you’re probably in some teepee pulling out your teeth with rusty pliers and gluing them back in because it helps relieve the pain of having to think because that’s a new concept for you. One, I was the War Games Captain for High Octane Wrestling not 4CW, that was Jace Parker Davidson. Jace’s team lost while my team won because that’s what I am, a winner.”

Stevens says as he points to himself.

“Second, I’m a highly decorated wrestler as you said, but I was never in 4CW until now.”

Stevens informs his opponent as he leans against the ropes.

“You see Alex, I was never under contract with 4CW until after the Ante Up pay-per-view when Perry Wallace got his wish of me putting pen to paper and I began making Randy Fields type of money as a fully employed member of the 4CW roster. Before that, I had only come to 4CW as a special attraction and when I did I dominated every time. Three championship matches and three championships claimed; Internet Championship, XTV Championship, and currently one-third holder of the World Tag Team Championships. Chris Madison isn’t the only undefeated wrestler in 4CW but his undefeated streak fails in comparison to mine because all I do is win, championships that is.”

Stevens says with a smirk and a wink.

“And you actually think you have a chance against me?”

Stevens asks seriously.

“How can you think you have a chance against me when you keep contradicting yourself? I mean you said you came to 4CW to make a name for yourself and prove you aren’t a Muppet who Aidan Morag is controlling every little thing he does when he had his hand up your ass in Fight One. Then you said you already made a name for yourself. Which is it Alex? Are you the underdog that you boast loudly being or are you an established superstar that’s waiting to conquer 4CW? You can’t have it both ways.”

Stevens says as he backs up until he is in the center of the ring.

“You boast you’re here to win and you’re here to make an impact and you continue to say cliché things such as I’ve been in tough matches before and you’re going to bring the fight to me and blah, blah, blah, fucking blah.”

Stevens says with a shake of his head to demonstrate he is unimpressed with what he has seen from Alexander Hayes.

“I respect your heart, your determination and your fighting spirit Alex, I really do, because people said I would never make it in the wrestling industry and I had to scrape and claw for everything I earned just like you have so far. However, your overconfidence is your Achilles heel, and unfortunately for you, you haven’t learned from your past. You say you’re one tough son of a bitch, but apparently you aren’t tough enough if you’ve retired from wrestling once already do to concussions because that means you were beaten by men tougher than you. I’ll admit that I’m as tough as they come, but even the toughest can be beaten. I have been beaten, broken, bloodied, and concussed, but I didn’t run away like you did. I didn’t retire because of my injuries. I used them as a learning experience to better myself to make sure it didn’t happen again, and when you say it doesn’t matter if you’re facing Jair Hopkins or someone else is a slap in the face to them because you need to respect your opponent because if you don’t then you’re already beaten. The reason you always came up short of winning “the big one” or important matches in Fight One wasn’t because you’re the underdog it’s because of the disrespect you have for your opponents because you don’t think they matter, but guess what I matter.”

Stevens says bluntly as he moves towards the ropes and leans on them once again.

“Our match may be the one opening up Adrenaline, but I can tell you that it’s one of the most important matches of your career because everything is riding on your shoulders Alex. Think about it for a second, you have a chance to make a name for yourself against one of the most controversial figures in all of wrestling. You have a chance to defeat the man who’s been blacklisted by multiple wrestling promotions because I’ve done underhanded things to secure victories for myself. Most importantly, you have the opportunity to defeat the Captain of the team who defeated Perry Wallace’s War Games team, and the man who is undefeated in 4CW as well. Can you do it Alex? Can you dig down deep, and overcome the odds like a true underdog and beat the big bad Texan? Or will your time in 4CW be short lived just like Adam Beach’s time was in the Suicide Squad movie when he got his head blown off?”

Stevens asks curiously.

“The outcome of the match is going to be the same outcome it has been for the last five hundred years when an Indian opposed the white man, and that’s a redskin being stripped of his identity, his heritage, his hopes, his dreams, and given the false hope that he can be my equal one day. I’m going to do what my ancestors did Alex, and I’m going to take everything from you when you’re flat on your back counting the lights as my hand is raised high in victory. You will realize that you are inferior. You will realize that you aren’t as tough as you thought you were. You will realize that you are a fucking failure just like Fight One was. You and Fight One both made claims that you were big successes but we aren’t having this match in Fight One are we? And if you were as big of a star as you think you are Perry would’ve called you, but instead you called him begging for a job. That is what a failure is and come Adrenaline you’ll continue your role of being just that as you become another notch on Scott Stevens’ belt as I slowly climb up the ladder of success in 4CW.”

Stevens promises as the image fades to black.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION
Stevens is a very bitter and seasoned veteran of the wrestling ring that can still perform at a high level, but not to the level he thinks he should be at. He will use past success to justify why he is better than most people. He gets offended and pissed if you do not know who he is because as a member of the famous Stevens wrestling family his name is known worldwide.

Stevens is the type of person who won’t start the fight but he will finish it. If you happen to get hurt or bloodied it’s not Stevens’ fault because he wasn’t doing anything, but minding his own business. Actions have consequences which means he will do whatever he thinks will be the best solution to insure that he is the last one standing.

Stevens will reframe from cheating but isn’t above it.

Stevens will reframe from using weapons the majority of the time, even in hardcore matches, because he believes all he needs is his ability to beat you..

APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION
Stevens is a physically imposing figure as well as a physical looking specimen at his age. He has black hair and a black beard or a black goatee with a five o’ clock shadow around it if he decides to shave the sideburns off. Stevens is heavily scarred and tattooed with his most recognizable tattoos being the giant Scorpion on his right arm, his barbed wire tribal design on his left that all his friends in the business he is close with have, and his Texas themed tattoo on his chest. Stevens has notable scars over his body but his trademark one is the one over his right emerald eye that starts on the forehead and runs down onto his cheek.

IN-RING GEAR:

Stevens wears pants that are two tone….

Red and White

Black and Red

Red and Black

Black and White

Combination of colors.

The left pant leg will have a Scorpion on it and it will match the color of the right pant leg.

Stevens wears black boots.

Both hands and wrists are heavily taped.

Stevens wears a metal knee brace on his right knee and he isn’t afraid to use it to his advantage.

For pay-per-views or special events, Stevens will wear a hooded jacket (AJ Styles) to the ring.

OUT OF-RING GEAR:
Stevens will wear blue jeans, tennis shoes, t-shirt (Houston sports teams, Nike shirts, his own t-shirts), and a Hoodie.

Stevens will wear suits if the situation calls for it.

STYLE & MOVESET
WRESTLING STYLE:
Brawler/Power/Catch

STRENGTHS:
Wrestling IQ - Before matches, assuming he hasn't underestimated his opponent, Stevens scouts every opponent diligently and bodes well for him in his matches and will head into the match with Plan A through Plan Z.

Strength- His wrestling skills are underrated because he’s busy overpowering his opponents the majority of the time.

Endurance: Stevens is a veteran of numerous "hard core" matches and has a high pain threshold. His cardio is superb for a man his age and wrestling for an hour or longer is not something that would faze him whatsoever.

Experience: A second generation veteran of the business, Stevens is not phased by big occasions.

WEAKNESSESS:
Prior Injuries - Stevens is the recipient of multiple concussions and numerous other injuries, mainly on the knee. He wears a big, bulky brace on his right knee.

Age- He isn't exactly a spring chicken.

Temper- Stevens will have a gameplan but will divert from it if frustration and anger sets in.

Proving People Wrong - Stevens gets a chip on his shoulder when someone tells him he can't beat this person or win this championship. He always feels he has to constantly prove himself to everyone.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Scott Stevens is a second generation wrestler. His father, Cary Stevens, is a legendary wrestler from Texas and in the Southern region during the territory days. He is a part of the Stevens Dynasty that includes middle brother, George Stevens, and his youngest brother, Ricky Stevens. In the recent few years his cousin, Bo Stevens, has been training to become a professional wrestler to continue the Stevens legacy.

Started professionally at the age of sixteen in his father’s company mainly as enhancement talent. At the age of eighteen and after graduating high school he began to work the independent scene on his own, but wasn’t getting much work because of his last name and people blacklisting him around the South do to promoters’ bad blood with his father. Fearing that his career was done before it started, Stevens decided to enroll in college on a baseball scholarship. Late in his junior year, he blew out his knee after colliding with the catcher on a slide to home plate, and was done for the season and his senior year as well.

After he graduated college, he was offered a minor league contract by Houston Astros affiliate, Corpus Christi Hooks. His first year with the Hooks he tore another ligament in his knee, and his baseball career was done. Once he recovered from his knee injury he decided to give wrestling another try full time, and he decided to travel oversees to hone his craft were his last name wouldn’t affect him.

After making a name for himself all over Europe and Asia he headed back to the States where he’s been competing ever since.

REGULAR ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION
The lights in the arena go pitch black, as red lasers and spotlights light up the area as the angelic voice of Lauryn Hill serenades the live crowd.

“Ready or not, here I come, you can't hide
Gonna find you and take it slowly
Ready or not, here I come, you can't hide
Gonna find you and make you want me"
[/i]

The video screen lights up and flashes across the screen a Texas flag, with the words, “Texas Born. Texas Bred.” “Texas Forever.“ branded into the flag. The crowd reaction is mixed, but there are more cheers than boos, as “Ready or Not” by Fugees plays throughout the PA system. As the chorus begins to fade there is one final image that is displayed across the screen and that message reads in bold, capitalized letters…..SCOTT STEVENS as “Hellraiser” by Motorhead begins to play.

“Hellraiser, in the thunder and heat
Hellraiser, rock you back in your seat
Hellraiser, and I'll make it come true
Hellraiser, I'll put a spell on you”

The cheers intensify as the chorus hits the speakers, drawing out the man from Texas.

POWERS: "Introducing at this time, coming to us from the Great State of Texas, by way of Houston, Texas."

Walking down the aisle, he fists bumps some of his fans while raising a fist at a few of the more vocal bashers.

POWERS: "Standing at six feet, six inches, and weighing in at two hundred and fifty-six pounds..."

As he finally gets to the ring, he climbs the nearest turnbuckle and stares down at his opponent.

POWERS: "This...is....SCOTTTTTTTTTTTTT STEEEEEEEEEEEVENSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!"

An icy glare and the throat slash gesture his only actions as he drops to the mat.

What a beautiful day it is, don't you think?

I mean the sun is shining brightly in the sapphire colored sky with not a cloud in the sky as far as the eyes can see, but even though there  aren't any clouds in the sky that doesn't necessarily mean that the sky is vacant.

Kaw! Kaw!

The sound of a flock of black birds and seagulls is heard above as they circle in the air...

Sniff....Sniff.....

What the hell is that smell?

The answer to that question is quickly answered as the swarming black birds and sea gulls dive downward and we find out that the smell is coming from a gigantic landfill and in this Texas heat it's B.O. and barbeque. Pew You!

Pew You is right, this smell is unbearable.

As we watch as two seagulls fight over a rotten and maggot infested piece of what looks to be a once delicious pepperoni and sausage pizza there is someone in the distance coming closer....fast.

"You can't escape me! You hear me?!?"

The figure shouts loudly as the image starts to become clear that the figure is a man chasing something or someone, but other than the birds and the endless supply of filth that lays at our feet we cannot see what the man is hunting. As the man approaches we see that he is shirtless wearing black basketball shorts with red trim with his face obscured behind a pair of black sunglasses and looking down at something in his hand that resembles an iPod or a smart phone.

"You escaped me once but you won't escape me this time you son of a bitch!"

The man shouts with confidence in his tone as he slowly decelerates.

"One shake.....two shake.....come on...come on...."

The man says in a winded tone as he looks down at his iPhone six as sweat trickles down his face and onto the screen.

"YES! GOT YOU PIKACHU!"

The man shouts and does a fist pump to celebrate his prize catch.

"Thought you could escape me rat, but I told you I was going to capture you because I have to catch them all after all."

The man says with a devilish grin as he slowly places the smart phone into his left pocket and slowly turns his head to the right to give his full attention to the viewing audience.

"Hi there Four Corners Wrestling."

The man says with a nod and a wave.

"For those that may not know me my name is......"

The man removes his glasses to reveal his identity is the Southern accent, heavily scarred body, and numerous tattoos wasn't a dead giveaway.

"Scott Stevens, and when I'm not being the greatest Pokémon Master that ever lived not name Randy Fields, you all me know better as Captain Planet."

Stevens says with a smirk.

"My fame and legacy outside of the Stevens wrestling family is highly known because I am a humanitarian that gives back through my various charitable groups, and one of those charities is to help keep the Earth green by reminding everyone to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle as often as possible because a green planet is a healthy planet."

Stevens says with a smile as he motions with his head to follow him.

"For the ones that do know me they know that I primarily in High Octane Wrestling."

Stevens says as he comes to a stop.

"You know the one where Jace.....excuse me Jason P. Davidson, and Tara Davidson came from. Where Brian Hollywood is the Champion of Champions. The place where Darin Zion said he likes going man to man. The place owned and run by Lee Best."

Stevens informs the casual viewers who may not know of any other wrestling promotions outside of 4CW.

"However, HOW isn't the only promotion I have competed in as I've competed in company's 4CW has had partnerships with from Wrestle UTA and Boardwalk, and I've even competed in 4CW as well and not only am I undefeated in 4CW, but I've won championship gold in every match I've competed in."

Stevens says with nod.

Championship gold!?!?!?!? What the hell is this fuck smoking?!?!?!?

"I know some may be confused by my statement, but I assure you that I am a 4CW champion....well, I'm not the 4CW champion as that is held by Dakota, but I am one-third holder of the Tag Team championships with Jace and Tara Davidson, better known as Ascended Supremacy."

Stevens says smiling like a Cheshire cat.

"Don't believe me? Go back and check the match, and if I wasn't a legal participant in the title match then the referee wouldn't have allowed me to participate. Perry can deny it all he wants, and when you ask Tara and Jace they would rather not acknowledge the fact that I helped them win championship gold when they didn't need it but it was too much fun fucking with Hollywood and reminding him that the Davidsons and I own him."

Stevens reminds everyone including Hollywood of his tag title loss.

"I know what you're thinking and that is if I am truly one of the tag team champions then why haven't I been competing in 4CW regularly and teaming with Jace and Tara, and the answer is I just don't have the time to regularly defend my tag title. You see, when you're a hot commodity like I am it's hard to balance time between one promotion and the other when you are the face of a rival promotion, plus Ascended Supremacy is a dominating tag team in their own right it's not like they need me all the time to defend the titles. That is why the agreement was made that they would defend the titles and I would step in to defend if one of them got injured or was missing in action do to things like a missed flight, visa issues, illness, etc. but the most important reason why I haven't been competing in 4CW is because of Perry Wallace!"

Stevens says viciously.

"It's ironic that we are in this landfill full of trash because the last time I was at a 4CW event was in my hometown of Houston, Texas and Perry offered me a contract, but I tore it up and threw it in the trash where it belonged because that's what his offer was to me was utter garbage!"

Stevens shouts as spit flies from his mouth and he takes a moment to calm himself.

"Perry must've had me confused with some of the other hacks who left for Atlantic City because they couldn't cut the mustard in 4CW, but he knows exactly who I am and what I can do in that ring because every time I've stepped into a 4CW ring I've won. Hell, I'm the guy that Captained the team that was victorious over Perry's little invasion force at War Games. The team that no one said would win proved everyone wronged by dominating at the pay-per-view. I mean after that performance my stock went through the roof as I showed I was more valuable than Jace, Tara, and Hollywood combined but you wanted to pay me like some curtain jerker?!??!?"

Stevens says with disgust.

"It's not my fault that Jason Cashe cost you five million dollars so you could've brought in Randy Fields instead of me, but I'm your only option left since your saving grace his doing time in a Mexican prison for drug trafficking and getting anal raped by El Chapo, but what are you going to do, am I right?"

Stevens says with a shrug.

"Ever since that shitty offer from Wallace, I had been ignoring all phone calls and text messages from that scumbag because I had better things to do than wrestle for a company that undervalued talent and didn't pay them accordingly to what they are worth until now. That's right ladies and gentlemen, I, Scott Stevens, have officially signed a contract with Four Corners Wrestling and I will be at the Ante Up pay-per-view competing in Xtreme Roulette for the XTV championship."

Stevens says with a Kodak smile.

"With High Octane Wrestling on hiatus until September I have plenty of time to kill, and between saving the planet, and hacking websites, everyone knows that wrestling is my true passion so Perry blew up my phone with fifty voicemails and asked if I wanted to come in and compete for a championship and for double the money of my last contract offer. How could I refuse such an offer?"

Stevens asks rhetorically.

"I met with Perry at his corporate office earlier this week and signed my name on the dotted line, and he gave me the details of match so I could properly prepare with the few days left before the pay-per-view, and I am chopping at the bit to get to Vegas and compete for the XTV championship because that title is right up my alley."

Stevens says grinning.

"I mean these scars that litter my body aren't just for show."

Stevens says as he points to the very visible scars on his upper torso, arms, and his signature one over his right eye and cheek.

"I have bled and broke bones on six continents and these are a reminder of the wars I've had to go through to succeed in this business when people told me I would never make a name for myself and that I would never be more than Cary Stevens' son, but I've proved them wrong just like I'm going to prove everyone wrong at Ante Up when an outsider comes in and becomes the new XTV champion."

Stevens says confidently.

"I know what the majority is thinking and that's how can I possibly thrive in utter chaos when you don't know if you're the first opponent for Sonny Lee or number one hundred and eighteen. The answer is they are all the same because it doesn't matter if you are facing Sonny Lee, Jason Cashe, C.J. O'Donnell, James Deen's Hard Eleven or the Boogeyman because as champion you are defending that championship until the end of Ante Up. And since you are constantly fending off attacks from the entire roster you have to keep your head on a swivel and be aware of your surrounding because you could get pinned while eating in catering or while you're trying to take a leak in the rest room.

Plus, just because you defeated the champion to win the title doesn't mean that the former champion can't come back and try to win his championship back, and this is where I will rise above the rest until I topple all and reign supreme as the XTV champion. This match is nothing new to what I face on a weekly basis in High Octane Wrestling because I'm constantly in a chaotic event where I have people constantly coming out of the woodwork to try and take me out from the Elite Protection Unit to the Best Alliance to everyone else, but like cream I always rise to the top."

Stevens boasts as he begins walking once again.

"I'm the odds on favorite to walkout of Ante Up with the XTV championship because I've shown that the best 4CW has to offer isn't good enough to stop me, and if you disagree then bring your tables, ladders, chairs, trash cans, and any other toy you think that can help you stop me from walking out because I'm going to show you that I only need these to beat you."

Stevens raises his hands up and balls his fists tightly.

"I'm not a God of Violence, but I can make them bleed and I may not be royalty but I have conquered Kings and Queens of everything because that's what I do, and at Ante Up you're going to witness first hand as I carve out a path of destruction to become the XTV champion."

Stevens promises as the image fades to black.
