PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION
Two of Brenden’s redeeming qualities are his sense of humor and personality. The competitor within him can be fierce, paranoid, and dangerous, but even in these moments of weakness, his calm and cool demeanor usually shines through. There isn’t much about him that is serious. He enjoys having fun and while most find wrestling as an outlet for built-up aggression, Brenden uses it as a tool to stay in shape and make money.

APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION
Brenden’s appearance is pretty plain. Besides a beard that he won’t shave because of his phobia of babies (and without a beard, he looks like one), he is ruggedly handsome with short-cropped hair. He may occasionally wear a watch but has a habit of losing things and his watch is typically one of those things. He wears plain T-shirts and blue jeans or khaki shorts and is quick to avoid any article of clothing that might have some sort of graphic styling. Brenden is locked in a constant state of paranoia and graphic T-shirts, he feels, are used as tools to pay homage to cults and other secret organizations that might wish to do him harm.

IN-RING GEAR:
Brenden wears a traditional singlet emblazoned with the mascot of his former high school, a wolf, in the ring. As a former high school state champion runner-up, he has refused to wear any other wrestling gear until he wins a championship. Unfortunately, he’s still waiting.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Brenden Morganson is not your run-of-the-mill wrestler. He was born into a wealthy family and spent most of his childhood and teenage years in a loving and supportive environment. At the point that most people were working hard to carve out a future, Brenden was hardly working, content to sit back and enjoy life as it came to him.

In high school, Brenden was a four-time state wrestling championship runner-up. When others hit the mats, Brenden hit McDonalds. At 195 pounds, he dominated his weight class during the season and into regional competition, but when it came time to train for state, Brenden never put in the work needed to win the coveted championship.

For four years, he was known as Oklahoma’s second-best wrestler at 195 pounds and eventually, it became a joke that journalists wrote about, excessively. Rather than do what most would in his position, Brenden went in the opposite direction.

During the championship tournament of his senior season, Brenden once again made it to the championship match, tasked with taking on an opponent he had beaten twice during the season. But the key difference was practice. As a superstitious teenager, Brenden believed practice leading up to the tournament would hinder rather than help him.

The result was a loss by fall in 3:45 and Brenden’s exit from high school wrestling without ever winning a championship. Colleges didn’t want him despite his exceptional skill. No coach wanted to work with an athlete who refused to put in the work and because of this, Brenden moved on from wrestling until a high school friend told him, a few years later, about a local professional wrestling company seeking new talent.

Looking to put the past behind him and win the championship once and for all, Brenden strapped on the old singlet and tightened up his laces and hit the mats. Brenden began training with Vin Cassidy, learning the ropes before eventually feeling confident enough to step into the ring. Brenden got destroyed.

Unlike his run in high school, Brenden refused to give up and put hours upon hours into training, shedding the weight he had gained since high school and packing on the muscle. Brenden eventually began to win, but the one thing that continued to evade him was the ultimate prize, a heavyweight championship.

Brenden comes to 4 Corners Wrestling looking to finally win the grand prize once and for all.
